All the Outbounds got their picture taken before their interview
at the Shussout...we're all holding up our name-tags and wearing the mandatory green shirts....Oh yeah thanks RYE. Because none of us knew that it's going to be the picture used for our 'business' cards on exchange. Love that. Haha

Was shussout in Wasilla this year? Was there any skiing, as thats what shuss means in German apparently. That's what I heard, and all of us outbounds right now have been talking about the change in facebook. Good luck with everything, I am sure you are going to have a wonderful year. I have been having the most amazing time in Hungary, that I can't not imagine that in just a little more than three months I will be home in Alaska. Good luck with everything, and my best advice to to study as much of the language as you can before hand, even though it may be really dull. Did anyone get assigned to Hungary this year?
ReplyDeleteYeah shussout was held in Wasilla...so no skiing...which was to bad cause I'm from Wasilla and was totally looking forward to Alyeska! But it was still a blast. Thanks! Yeah I'm learning Portuguese now...slowly, One girl was assigned Hungary but there was a problem/confusion so now she's going to Denmark I think...Do you know Kate Mulcahy? She went to Hungary last year on exchange...Thanks for the advice!
